Chamberlain SD, Missouri River, Shnauzer
Today we woke up on the Missouri River in a little town of Chamberlain SD. Great camping ground and pretty impressive river. I took a bike ride through town and Russ worked on the tow dolly rig. Seems the plug that connects to the RV came out, drug down the freeway and wore down to the metal. So now tail lights or turn signals. Poor Russ! It is fixed now and I am in a cute coffee, antique place in town working on the blog.
As I sat here, I received a phone call from Stephie, Niece in law, in Sun Valley. She is hoping they got a house to rent in Haily, Idaho. Besides Regean, they are expecting a new little one, too. They got the cowboy pink boots we bought Regean in Cody, WY. Last year beaded native American moccasins and now cowboy boots.
Shadow is eating better, does not like all this heat, but sort of has some shine in her eyes.
We have 4th of July reservations on a Lake north of the Twin Cities in Minnesota. So tomorrow we work our way there. This is all new country for me. I will do another little blog on yesterday-Wall Drug and the Badlands.
You can see the Missouri River through the trees. Last year this campground was 10 feet under water!
