Our lives now include living at one of the nicest senior communities in the USA. Rossmoor in Walnut Creek, CA. We will still travel in the RV but not full time.

Double click first photo for slide show.

The photos come from a day we visited the museum at the old railroad station where a lot of cotton passed through is now SCAD-the incredible fine arts college here in Savannah.  Everywhere are SCAD saved buildings in historic Savannah supporting and training every aspect of fine arts.  Wonderful young people that open up and tell  you about themselves.  A waiter in their restaurant the Griphith, who wants to do Shakespeare.  A arts business major at the “little black dress” show and so on.

Loved this when I read it.  Hope it speaks to some of you,

The Guest House
by Rumi

This being human is a guest house.
Every morning a new arrival.

A joy, a depression, a meanness,
some momentary awareness comes
as an unexpected visitor.

Welcome and entertain them all!
Even if they’re a crowd of sorrows,
who violently sweep your house
empty of its furniture,
still, treat each guest honorably.
He may be clearing you out
for some new delight.

The dark thought, the shame, the malice,
meet them at the door laughing,
and invite them in.

Be grateful for whoever comes,
because each has been sent
as a guide from beyond.

LOVE IT!!! Looks like you’re having a great time! Hope Santa got your wish-list down.

How’s the repair coming? We’re in Wabasso (Vero Beach) for Christmas. Will leave on Wed and head down to the Fort Lauderdale area – Aztec RV Resort in Margate Dec 26th thru Jan 2nd. Then over to Naples – Signature Naples Motorcoach Resort Jan 2nd thru 9th. At that point we’re gonna try to touch base with Don & Dar & see how they’re doing. They will be in a park in N. Ft. Myers. Let us know where you’re heading next. Keep having fun.
